Sylvia Reynolds

Mrs. Sylvia Jo Lee Reynolds, age 85 of Dallas, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025. She was born January 30, 1940 in Mableton, Georgia, daughter of the late Nathan Lee and the late Doris Bennett Lee.

She started her career at Southern Bell and retired from Malbon, Inc. as an inspector with 25 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. Sylvia was a strong woman who ensured her family was cared for and supported, always taking care of others. She loved shelling peas from her garden and cooking for family gatherings on Sundays in which she loved to share her recipes. Her trips to Tybee Island and Panama City Beach were her favorite times of making memories with family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon T. Reynolds, Jr.; and a sister, Peggy Spain.

Survivors include two sons, Randy (Tracy) Reynolds and Mark (Mary) Reynolds; a daughter, Connie Hendricks; three sisters, Brenda Hornbuckle, Becky Strickland and Carolyn Shead; three brothers, Jimmy Lee, Jerry Lee and Ricky Lee; and five grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Valerie Reynolds Pruitt, Bethany Reynolds Richards, Tarisa Reynolds, Eden Reynolds Hogan and Jackson Reynolds.

An inurnment graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 3:00 pm in the Georgia National Cemetery of Canton, Georgia.
