Susan Denise Brinkley, age 56, passed away on January 8, 2026. Susan was born on February 20, 1969, in Austell, GA, to the late Alvie and Alice Brinkley. She was raised in the Mableton area, later moving to Paulding County, where she touched many lives with her warmth, kindness, and constant faith.
Susan was a deeply faithful woman and a dedicated member of her church. This is where she thrived in teaching Children's Church and formed deep connections with her church family. Anyone who knew her can attest to her unwavering support; if you needed a prayer, Susan was always the first to step up.
As a proud Nanny, Susan cherished her time with her grandson, Corban, and delighted in being a doting grandmother. She had a passion for Hallmark movies and enjoyed her Case Knife collection. Susan was known as one of the biggest conspiracy theorists around. Her love for sharing her thoughts and interests was further amplified through her enthusiasm for Facebook.
Susan is survived by her son, Casey (Chloe) Brinkley; grandson, Corban Brinkley; her brother, AJ (Cindy) Brinkley; her sister, Tammy (Eric) Bailey; nieces Rebekah (Josh) Grover, Lauren (Patrick) Buckner, Katie (Johnathon) Bonner, and Aubrey (Daniel) Corbitt; nephew Matt (Allissa) Bailey, and many great nieces and nephews. Each of them will miss her dearly.
