Sue Ellen Jones

Sue Ellen Jones, passed away on March 31, 2024. Sue Ellen was born on October 10, 1947 to her parents Paul and Marion Collins.

Sue Ellen worked as a dedicated banker at Georgia State Bank for over 10 years, and was known for her kindness and professionalism within the banking industry. She held a High School Diploma from South Cobb High School and was proud of her career achievements. Sue Ellen was a member of First Baptist Church in Powder Springs. She was a lifelong resident of Mableton and Powder Springs.

She is survived by her son Matt (Tracy) Jones, daughter Stacey (Jeptha) Johnson; brother, Paul Collins; grandchildren, Maggie Jones, Tyler (Hannah) Newsome, and Jameson Johnson; great-grandchildren, Collins Newsome and Walker Newsome. Sue Ellen was also a loving daughter, sister, and friend to many.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM at Clark Funeral Home and Chapel.

Sue Ellen will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
