Mr. Stephen Morris Henderson, age 68, of Temple, Georgia, passed away on January 21, 2026. Steve was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was quickly adopted by Doug and Helen Henderson. He was raised in Marietta, Georgia and graduated from Marietta High School.
Steve was an ultimate UGA football fan, always decked out in red and black, cheering on the Dawgs with passion and pride. He had a zest for life that showed in everything he did, whether he was cruising down the road on his beloved Harley or casting a line while fishing.
Steve had a deep love for music, especially the classic rock of the '70s. You could often find him strumming his guitar, lost in the sounds of The Allman Brothers and Gov't Mule, truly living out his rock and roll heart.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Doug and Helen Henderson and his daughter, Ashley Henderson.
Steve leaves behind his loving wife of 18 years, Sandra Henderson, and his three children: Christopher (Angela) Tindale, Chad (Brooke) Tindale, and Cathleen (Tim) Kohler. He was also a proud Papa to nine grandchildren and was cherished by several nieces and nephews.
To honor Steve's life, family and friends will gather for a visitation at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at the Sam Clark Chapel at 2:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at the Georgia National Cemetery on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his laughter, love, and the way he embraced life to the fullest. Rest in peace, Steve. Your spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
