Shirley Williams, age 77, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Born on October 21, 1947, in Blue Ridge, Georgia, Shirley was the daughter of the late Floyd and Kathleen Townson.

Shirley deeply loved her family and is survived by her son, Dirk Williams, grandson, Hunter Williams, and sisters, Mary Ellen Cohran (Mike) and Teresa Corkill (Clint). In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Steven Williams; her sisters, Debra Townson and Glenda Sue Wilkins; and her brothers, Earl Townson, Danny Botts, Randall Botts, and Ronnie Botts.

Throughout her career, Shirley spent her days serving as a cashier with a warm smile and friendly demeanor. In her spare time, she enjoyed planting flowers, taking beach trips, and antique shopping.

Shirley's family will receive friends on Friday, June 27th, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Sam Clark Chapel, with Pastor Thomas Blagg officiating. Shirley will be laid to rest at Paulding Memorial Gardens.
