Sheila Waldrop Embrey

Sheila Yvonne Embrey, age 57, of Hiram, Ga.  passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Sheila was born on March 25, 1963 to parents; Gail Waldrop Dowdy and the late John Robert Waldrop. Sheila was a She She to her grandbabies and great nephew and a Baptist by faith. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, mother in-law, grandmother, and friend that will be missed by all who loved and cherished her.

Sheila is survived by her mother and father; Gail and Gary Dowdy; her husband, Paul Embrey; sons, Eric Paul Embrey of Hiram, GA, and Tyler (Brittany) Embrey of Dallas, GA; sisters, Michele Waldrop of Dallas, GA and Christie (Lanny) Keith of Georgetown, TN; grandchildren, Reese and Grayson; nieces and nephews, Austin (Alli) Bresnock, Ashley Bresnock, along with a host of other nieces and nephews and a great niece.

Funeral Services for Sheila will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Whipple officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens in Powder Springs, GA. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Embrey safe.  The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
