Sean Patrick Fowler

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sean Patrick Fowler, age 53, who departed this life peacefully on June 13, 2026, at his home in Dallas, Georgia. Sean was born on November 11, 1972, in Charleston, South Carolina, the son of Johnny Wade Fowler and Sharron Inez Long Fowler. He devoted his life to serving his community, exemplifying compassion and dedication in all he undertook.Sean proudly served for many years with the Douglas County Sheriff's Department, starting as a Deputy before retiring as an Investigator. His commitment to law enforcement and the safety of others was an integral part of his identity, and he touched the lives of many in the community he served.A passionate Atlanta sports fan, Sean was especially devoted to Georgia Tech football and the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed fishing, exploring the outdoors, and created lasting memories through his love for 80s music. His spirit of camaraderie and joy for life will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.Sean is survived by his loving wife, Kimberlly Ann Godwin Fowler; their cherished sons, Alex Fowler and Jackson Fowler; his parents: Johnny Wade Fowler and Sharron Inez Long Fowler; his beloved sister Misty Lynne Pittman and brother-in-law Ken Pittman; mother-in-law Peggy Godwin; and nieces Katy Pittman and Mia Pittman. He is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
