Sara Marie Guillebeau

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sara Marie Guillebeau, who left us peacefully on July 7, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on January 4, 1965, in Crawley, LA, to the late Milton and Earline Vail, Sara spent her life surrounded by family and friends, touching the hearts of everyone she met.

Sara lived in Dallas, GA, and worked in retail at Home Goods. An enthusiastic book lover, she could often be found curled up with a novel, losing herself in stories. Her passion for reading was a reflection of her vibrant spirit and love for adventure, even if it was just on the pages of a book. Sara also had a deep love for the beach, and she cherished any chance to feel the sand beneath her feet and the sun on her face. She had a true gift for having a good time, bringing laughter and joy to every gathering she attended.

Sara is survived by her loving husband, James Guillebeau, and her dear sister, Alice Breaux. They will cherish the memories they made together and carry her love with them always.

The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Sara will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. In the words of her favorite authors, she has turned the page and begun a new chapter, one that we can only imagine will be filled with love and light.
