Sandra Phillips

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Sue Phillips, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who died on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on May 26, 1952, in Marietta, GA, Sandra was the daughter of the late Murray and Thelma Smith.

Sandra dedicated 10 years of her life to Kennestone at Windy Hill, where she touched the lives of many. Aside from her professional endeavors, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life-shopping, watching Hallmark movies, and tending to her beloved animals. Above all, Sandra loved her grandchildren, always finding time to create lasting memories with them.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, John Phillips, and her two daughters, Shannon Snell and her husband, George, and Marsha Snell and her husband, Robert. She was a proud grandmother to Brittany Reese and her husband Nathan, Hannah Snell, Chelsea Fambro and her husband Zach, and Joey Snell. Additionally, she was a delighted great-grandmother to Bentlee Fambro, David Morris, and Kennedy Rose Reese, nieces and nephews also survive Sandra. Besides her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by three brothers, Lonnie, Ronnie, and Marshall Smith, and her sister, Cindy Summerour.

In accordance with her wishes, Sandra will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
