Sandra Mayfield

Sandra Lora Mayfield, age 61, of Villa Rica, died on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Born on September 26, 1963, Sandra was the daughter of the late Chalmers and Georgia Mayfield. Sandra lived a life marked by resilience, tenacity, and unwavering love for her family, especially her cherished son, Joey Ward.

Sandra was a tough-as-nails individual who faced life's challenges head-on and always prioritized her son's needs. Friends and family alike admired her strength, warmth, and infectious laughter.

A woman who appreciated the simple joys of life, Sandra loved traveling and visiting with friends. Family and friends fortunate enough to know her will remember her for the many conversations and memories shared.

Sandra is survived by her beloved son, Joey Ward; her dear sister, Jackie Chandler, and a close-knit family including aunts, Dianne Turner and Debra Jackson; uncles, Larry Jackson and Charles Jackson, and her cherished nieces and nephews, Mandy Rogers, Matt Rogers, and Stacy Rogers. She will also be deeply missed by her cousin, Donna Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents.
