Sammi McSwain McKinzie
May 12, 1950 — July 2, 2017
Sammi McSwain McKinzie, age 67, of Dallas, GA passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017. She was born on May 12, 1950, in St. Augustine, FL, to the late Haywood & Ruby McSwain, and was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde “Mac” McKinzie, son, Scott McKinzie, Sister, Betty Andreu, and special nephew, Rob Walters. Mrs. McKinzie was the former owner of McKinzie Trucking Company.
Survivors include daughter, Tammy McKinzie of Dallas, GA; siblings, Mary Etta Pearson of Hazlehurst, GA, Ray McSwain of Hazlehurst, GA; Jesse McSwain of St. Augustine, FL, and Virginia & Frank Alligood of St. Augustine, FL; grandchildren, Cody McKinzie, Tori & Brandon Walker, Lexi McKinzie; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Scott McKinzie and Sadie Taylor Walker; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sweetwater Memorial Park. Cody McKinzie, Justin Lewis, Justin Hardy, Scott Johnston, Corey Johnston and Ricky Helms will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 6, 2017, from 2PM until the time of service.
