Russell Eugene Newsome

Russell Eugene Newsome, 82, passed away on October 27, 2023. He was born on February 9, 1941, in
Atlanta, Georgia, to the late George and Ruth Newsome. Russell was a man of few words and he lived
a life marked by his quiet nature, unwavering devotion to his family, and his dedication to his work.
Russell worked for many years, providing for his family as a business owner and plumber. He was a
loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed.

Russell is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Marion Newsome and Wayne
Newsome.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 62 years, Linda Newsome; sons, Darryl Newsome and Russ
Newsome; daughter, Kimberly (Kris) Lemley; grandsons, Ryan Newsome and Lincoln Kash Newsome;
sister, Ann Record, and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
