Ruby "Sigrid" Cofield

Sigrid "Sissy" Cofield passed away on September 22, 2023. She was born on August 16, 1941 to the late Cyril and Ruby Glosson in Atlanta, Georgia. Sigrid enjoyed gardening, reading books, and putting puzzles together. Later in life, she discovered her talent for oil painting. On August 12, 1960 she married her sweetheart, Ronald, and together they raised two children, Robert and Leslie. Sigrid loved spending time with her family and making special memories. Each memory will now hold a special place in all her loved ones hearts as they remember her.

Sigrid is preceded in death by her parents Cyril and Ruby Glosson; her loving husband, Ronald Larry Cofield; siblings, Cig Glosson, Barbara Thomas, and Claudette Lowrey. She is survived by her son, Robert David Cofield and wife, Wendy, of Hiram, Georgia; daughter, Leslie Meredith Harding and husband, Charlie, of Powder Springs, Georgia; sister, Elaine Pyne of Knoxville, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Tim (Meagan) Cofield, Andy (Kate) Cofield, Samantha (Brian) Ducker; seven great-grandchildren, Abby, Waylon, Walker, Savannah, Emma, Miles, Brooks; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive loved ones and friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 10:00am until 12:00pm. A graveside service for Mrs. Cofield will be held at Crestlawn Memorial Park at 1:00pm with Pastor Troy Hall officiating.
