Rosalie Linz Williams, age 81, of Marietta, GA, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2008. She was born in Munich, Germany, on September 18, 1926, to the late Maximillion & Therese Linz. Mrs. Williams was a loving mother, homemaker, and a retail buyer/manager for pharmaceuticals and gift items. She loved gardening and cooking and had a loving and caring personality.
Survivors include her husband of almost 60 years Roland Gordon Williams, Sr. of Marietta, GA; son & daughter-in-law, Roland G. Williams & wife Jill of Kathleen, GA; daughter, Therese A. Wilson of Dallas, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Maximilllion Linz, Jr. & wife, Therese of Munich, Germany; four grandchildren; four &1/2 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 12, 2008, at 12:00noon, from St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00pm, from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
