Mrs. Rosalee S. Jessel, age 90, of Dallas, GA (formerly of Knoxville, TN) passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014. Mrs. Jessel was born on February 11, 1924 in Knoxville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Zola Brantley Seymour and her husband, Jack D. Jessel. Mrs. Jessel moved to Georgia “kicking and screaming” she didn’t want to leave Knoxville, but did want to be with her family here.
Survivors include; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Ben Myers of Dallas, GA; granddaughter, Emily and Jason Shipp of Dallas, GA and great-grandchildren, Abigail, Lillian and Jack Shipp all of Dallas, GA.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Greenwood Cemetery 3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN.
