Roger Stephens

Roger Stephens, age 69, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 23, 1954, the son of the late Carl Thurbert Stephens and the late Nellie Mildred Stell Stephens. Roger was a master of all trade and was a hardworking mechanic and heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. His love for collecting knives and coins was only surpassed by his passion for fishing.

In addition to his parents, Roger was also preceded in death by his siblings: Thurbert Stephens, Nellie Ray, Barbara Jean Mitchell, Frances Hensley, and Helen Adams.

Roger leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Roger C. Stephens, Jr., Robert C. Stephens, and Stephanie Stephens; his siblings, George (Gina) Stephens and Dianne Stephens Penn; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate Roger's life and the joy he brought to those around him. There are no services planned for Roger at this time.
