Rodolfo Bosch Illescas

Today, September 4, 2023, Rodolfo (Rudy) Illescas was called by Jesus to join him in Heaven and is now resting in his arms.

Rudy was born in Guatemala City in 1944 and immigrated to the US in the late 1960's, settling in Boston, Massachusetts where he lived and worked most of his life. Rudy, held many different types of jobs, including joining the United States Navy, to which he was honorably discharged. And in 2011, after retiring, re-settled in Hiram, Georgia.

Rudy is the son of the late Jose Manuel Illescas and Maria Natalia Bosch Illescas.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Liliana Gaytan Illescas of Hiram, GA, his son Rudy Danny Illescas and his wife Sandra of Douglasville, GA; sisters Maria Elena Illescas of Dorchester, MA, Flor de Maria Carrillo of Guatemala, and Elsa Leticia Santos of Burbank, CA; his brothers Mario Illescas and his wife Edna of Weymouth, MA, Rolando Illescas and his wife Connie of Franklin, MA, and Guillermo Illescas and his wife Margot of Guatemala.

Rudy is now reunited with his sisters Josefina and Mariita and brothers Jose Manuel and Marco Tulio.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday September 9, 2023, at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA at 12pm and he will be laid to rest in his beloved Guatemala on a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson's and/or Alzheimer's research is preferred.
