It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rodney J. Presnell, passed on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on October 23, 1969, in Douglasville, Georgia, Rodney was the son of the late Charles Presnell and Vivian Mimbs. A dedicated Body Shop Manager at the Hardy Dealership in Dallas, Rodney spent his career committed to excellence in the automotive industry, where he made countless friends.
Rodney was not only known for his professional skills but also for his profound involvement in the community. He served as the Past Master of the Acworth Masonic Lodge #176, where he worked to support and uplift those around him. Beyond his professional and civic endeavors, Rodney possessed a passion for design; he was a talented logo designer who brought creativity and life to his projects.
A loving brother and uncle, Rodney is survived by his sisters, Robin Brown (Gary Pruitt) and Ginger Presnell; his brother, Randy Presnell (Pam); and his beloved nieces and nephew, Jeremy Presnell, Amanda Holloway, Tonya Deatherage (Josh), and Tabitha Pruitt. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Rodney cherished the companionship of his dog, Max, whose loyalty and love mirrored Rodney's own caring spirit.
Funeral services will be held to honor Rodney's life and legacy. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 10, 2026, at Clark Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Sam Clark Chapel on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm with the family receiving friends at 12:00 pm. Rodney will be laid to rest at Sunrise Gardens of Memories with Masonic Rites rendered following the service.
