Mr. Robert Brown, age 88, of Dallas, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Robert was born on October 31, 1937 in Blairsville, Georgia, to the late Lum and Bennie Lee Brown.
Robert Loved the Lord first and foremost. God saw he needed a wife and put his beloved wife, Hazel, in his life. Robert and Hazel have been by each others side for 70 years. They were married on June 29, 1957. Eight years later, God blessed them with a son, Timothy, whose name came for the Bible. They were blessed with a grandson, Joshua, whose name also came from the Bible. Joshua graduated from East Paulding High School in 2007. He went to meet the Lord at the young age of 18, he passed from an asthma attack. Robert worked many years at Mead Containers and made many lifelong friendships there. He was a very special man that loved his family.
Along with his parents and grandson, Robert was preceded in death by his brothers, L.J. Brown and Joe Brown; and sisters, Florence Winkler, Kathy Brown, and Brenda Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Brown; son, Tim Brown; daughter in law, Lathena Brown; brother, Jack Brown; sisters, Velma Harkins, Shirley (Earnest) Burnett, Clara Mae (J.M.) Dyer, and Bonnie (Larry) Henderson.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Paulding Memorial Gardens in Hiram, Georgia,Mr. with Pastor Donnie Smith officiating. Michael Monkus, Stephen Lovell, Travis Titshaw, Joe Queen, and Jacob Queen will serve as pallbearers.
