Robert "Bob" Turner, aged 77, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025. Born in Cumming, GA, Bob was the son of the late Robert and Mattie Turner.
Bob had a fulfilling career as an IT Administrator with IBM and had retired after many years of service. He cherished moments spent with his family, which included his two beloved daughters, Merry Ward and Bobbie Powell, as well as his granddaughters Kaylee and Faith Powell. His pride grew even more with the arrival of his great-grandsons, Roman and Forrest Powell, who brought endless joy to his days.
Bob found comfort in fishing trips, the thrill of aviation, and the peacefulness of birdwatching. These pursuits reflected his reflective nature and his appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Merry Ward (Mike) and Bobbie Powell (Richard); his granddaughters, Kaylee Powell and Faith Powell; and his great-grandsons, Roman Powell and Forrest Powell. He is also survived by his sister, Betsy Farmer, and his nephew and niece, Matt and Sarah Farmer, as well as his great-nephew, Ewan Farmer. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynne, and granddaughter, Analise Powell.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
