Riley Adams, Jr.

Riley P. Adams, Jr., age 86, of Dallas, GA, died Sunday, January 11, 2026. A native of Georgia, Riley was born in Atlanta and was the son of the late Riley Adams, Sr. and Jettie Hammond.

Riley's professional career was spent in the Transportation Industry as a Truck Driver with Philpot Contracting. He had a knack for mechanics and enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical. You could say he wanted to know how things operated. Riley also enjoyed fishing and the occasional golf outing.

Riley is survived by his son, Riley Adams, III, and his wife Christine; brothers, Thomas, Donnie, and Douglas Adams; sisters, Barbara Crabbe and Louise Harris; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sam Clark Chapel at the Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow the service at Mozley Memorial Garden in Lithia Springs.
