Raymond Williams
December 10, 1937 — April 12, 2009
Raymond Robert Williams, age 71, of Mableton, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2009. He was born on December 10, 1937, to the late John & Evie Williams, and was preceded in death by his wife, Iris Williams.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, David & Cindy Williams of Douglasville; daughter, Susan Renee Williams of Hiram; brothers and sisters –in-law, Herman & Lillian Williams of Hiram, Vernon & Carol Williams of Forest Park, and Bud Williams of Hiram; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce & Larry Hicks of Alabama; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. In honor of Mr. Williams’ wishes, the body will be cremated following the visitation.
