Randy K. Riggs

Randy K. Riggs, 61, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on November 12, 2023 in Marietta. He was born on January 25, 1962, at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. Randy was the beloved Director of Entertainment for Stars and Strikes since their opening in 2008. His commitment to his work allowed him to make a powerful impact in the community, where he DJed for various local events, including Relay for Life, the Special Olympics of Paulding County, Trick or Treat Village, School Dances, Sporting Events, and Fall Festivals. Prior to his time at Stars and Strikes, Randy worked at Brunswick Bowling alley in Kennesaw, DJed for clubs in the Cobb community, had his own Taekwondo studio "ATA" in Powder Springs, and was a DJ at WFOM Radio and Sparkles during the beginning of his DJing career. Randy attended North Cobb High School and cherished the memories he made there.

Randy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all of those in the communities affected by his genuinely positive demeanor. His passion to make an impact on the community and his love for everyone in it will never be forgotten.

Randy is remembered by his surviving son, River Riggs, and his brother, Michael (Peggy) Riggs. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Riggs, mother, Barbara Riggs, and sister, Kim (Michael) Riggs Forbes.

A ceremony to celebrate Randy's life will be held on Monday, November 27th, 2023 at New Season Church located at 4457 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, Ga. 30141. Visitation will take place from 2 PM to 4 PM, followed by the service at 4:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Relay for Life, Paulding County Special Olympics, or the Receiving Hope Center in Randy's honor.
