Rachel Ann Keller

Rachel Wages Keller, 78, of Hiram, Georgia, peacefully entered eternal rest on March 19, 2026, after a long and courageous journey with an extended illness. Her life was one marked by love, strength, and deep connection to those around her.

 Born on May 9, 1947, in Atlanta, Georgia, Rachel was the cherished daughter of Leonard F. Wages and Annie Bell Bannister Wages. She attended West Fulton High School and carried with her throughout life a warm spirit and a genuine kindness that touched so many.

 She was reunited in heaven with her beloved parents, her sisters Fay Wages Smith and Sue Wages Humphries, and her nephew James Brian Smith.

 Rachel leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love through her devoted husband of 20 years, Martin T. Keller of Hiram; her daughter, Wende Byrd Reynolds (Jeff) of Tallapoosa; and her son, Clay Byrd of Carrollton. Her joy was multiplied through her grandchildren, Ashton Harrison Henry (Jonathan) of Villa Rica and Steven Harrison of Nashville.

 She was also blessed with a wonderful extended family, including her cherished bonus children and grandchildren: Lauren, CJ, Noah, Avery, and Charlotte Trant; Jessica Saunders, Reid and Keller; Stephanie Powell and her children Parker, Gage, and Holden. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Larry Smith; her nephew Jeff (Penny) Smith; and many dear friends who were like family.

 The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the extraordinary love and friendship of the Glover family-Skip, Cherrie, Leigh Shirley, and Jeff. A special and lasting thank you to Cherrie for the incredible gift of a kidney donation, which blessed Rachel and her family with more than 14 additional years of cherished memories. Your generosity and love will forever be held close in our hearts.

 The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens with Frances Robinson officiating. Steven Harrison, Jonathan Henry, Jeff Reynolds, Jeff Smith, Gage Andel, and Parker Andel will serve as pallbearers.
