Peggy B. Young

Peggy B. Young, age 88, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on November 1, 2026. She was born on August 18, 1938, in Morgan County, Georgia, to the late William Clifford Barton and Irene Leachmon Barton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don O. Young; sister, Virginia B. Harwell of Conyers, Georgia, and Doris B. Watkins of Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Survivors include her son, Stephen B. Williams (Samantha Lelich) of Rockmart, Georgia, and stepdaughter Donna J. Townsend of Durango, Colorado. Along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Mrs. Young was a graduate of Morgan County High School and Southern Business School in Atlanta. She retired from the UPS Service Center in 2002.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Clark Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM in the Sam Clark Chapel. Peggy will be laid to rest at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
