Paul Lassar Mesa

Paul Lassar Mesa Jr. passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. He was born on January 7, 1959, a son of the late Paul and Lorna Mesa in Orlando, FL.

Paul served in the United States Army for four and a half years as a paramedic. He was honorably discharged in 1986. He loved spending time with his family, taking trips to the beach and the mountains. Paul was a truck driver for 20+ years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Paul also enjoyed time with his friends and his dog Lucy.

In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Kay Bresie. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Lewis Mesa; two sons, Skyler James Lewis Mesa, Peyton Soul Lewis Mesa; a daughter, Hope June Lewis (Blake White) Mesa; two brothers, Scott J. (Ginger Winchester) Schilling, Wayne (Tammy) Mesa; a grandson, Atlas Brooks White; two aunts, Sandra Mesa (Dave) Mitchell, Gerri Zwiefel; his uncle, Ralph Mesa; and many extended family members that are close to our hearts.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service for Paul will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Pastor John Morgan officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM at Georgia National Cemetery.
