Pat Gunter

A longtime, well-rooted family from the Powder Springs, Ga, area, we respectfully announce the passing of the matron of the family, Patricia Faye Wellham (Pat Gunter). She passed peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 29th, 2026.

Born in Austell, Ga on February 1st, 1952, Pat was the daughter of the late Carl Wellham and Lucille England. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, David Paw Gunter; her brother, Ed Wellham; and her son, Brian Gunter.

Pat is survived by her son Dustin Gunter and his wife Janet; daughter Tabitha Hood; grandchildren Britanni, Christy, Bradley, Brett, Austin, Tristan, Jr., Brennon, Logan, and Gavin; and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Dot Keener, and her sister-in-law, Nancy Wellham.

Pat was a member of Faith Baptist Temple in Powder Springs, Ga. The family extends an invitation for family and friends to join them as they celebrate Pat's life from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 at Faith Baptist Temple, 5083 Hiram Lithia Springs Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127.
