Pamela Jean Graham, of Dallas, GA, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on December 31, 1953, Pamela touched the lives of those around her with her warmth and kindness. Her memories will be cherished by her son David Jarrell and wife Heather; daughter Elizabeth Pepper and husband James; brother Robert Prater. Pamela was a doting grandmother to Heather Dangel(Scott), Seth Jarrell, Presley Jarrell, Olivia Jarrell, Brooke Jarrell, and great-granddaughter Addilyn Jarrell. Also surviving are nieces and nephews and Aunts Peggy Bartlett and Merriam Poole (Willie). Pamela was preceded in death by husband Robert Graham the love of her life, whom she married April 28, 1990, father Lewis Prater, mother Reba Lee Prater, brother Stanley Prater, and sister Nancy Prater.
Pamela's dedication to her family and church was unparalleled, and her legacy of love and care will live on through the generations she leaves behind. As a devoted mother David and Elizabeth were her life. Her role as a homemaker was a labor of love, creating a fun and welcoming environment for her family and friends. She could do just about anything in the home, she was a seamstress, baker, cake decorator, and if needed she could be the welder of the family. She was the fun Grandma always, allowing the kids to make messes and create crafts and art. She dedicated that time to making sure everyone got where they needed to go, as long as it didn't disrupt Days of our Lives. Faith was important to Pam, and she was a lifetime member of New Hope First Baptist Church but felt her largest calling in Vacation Bible School. She devoted many years to creating memorable experiences for hundreds of kids around Paulding County.
As we remember Pamela, we are reminded of her spunky can-do attitude, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering love for those closest to her. She saw treasure in all trash, and enjoyed turning what others did not want into something useful. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, especially around the holidays as she would spend an entire month creating special Christmas treats for her friends and family.
The memorial service will be held at New Hope First Baptist Church, 31 Bobo Road Dallas, GA 30132, Saturday October 26, 2024, at 11:30am, the family will be available for visitation at 10:30am. In lieu of customary remembrances', donations in memory of Pamela may be made to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org or to the New Hope First Baptist Church "Vacation Bible School Fund" at the above address.
