Orville "Sonny" Aiken

Orville "Sonny" Aiken Jr. passed away on January 25, 2022. He was born on April 25, 1947 to the late Orville and Vernetta Aiken. Sonny was an incredible man who enjoyed cooking, camping, loved serving his church, Legacy Baptist, and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Most importantly, he loved his family. He adored his girls and his precious granddaughter. Sonny will be remembered as a kind, sweet, loving, friendly man who will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, he will preceded in death by his sister; Nancy Aiken Chandler. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years; Nancy Aiken, his daughters; Laurel Aiken Gamel and Lindsey Aiken, his granddaughter; Ella Joy Gamel, his sister; Susan Aiken (Terry) Owens, Brother in Law; Larry Chandler, and multiple nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. A funeral service for Mr. Aiken will be at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00pm with Pastor Justin Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens with Jess Twilley, Jonas Lagana, Bryce Bell, Hayden Lankford, Jason Owens, and Brandon Sifuentes serving as pallbearers.
