Norma Jean Saunderson

Mrs. Norma Jean Evans Saunderson, age 80, of Kennesaw, Georgia, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026. She was born March 18, 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia, daughter of the late J. B. Evans and the late Pat Broome Giguere.

Norma spent a lot of time working because work was her life. She was employed for over 40 years as a sales representative for the S. P. Richards Company of Atlanta. Outside of work, her favorite place to travel was Hawaii, and she loved fishing off the pier at Flagger Beach, Florida. She was a fundraiser for multiple organizations and was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church of Marietta.

She is survived by a son, Jerry Saunderson, Jr.; and two grandchildren, Miranda (Nicholas) Petty and Nicholas Saunderson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 1:00pm in the Sam Clark Chapel with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00am until the funeral hour.

Interment will be held in the Pine Log United Methodist Church Cemetery of Rydal, Georgia.
