Norma C. Bradley, age 91, of Powder Springs, GA, (born and raised in Douglasville, GA,) passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 18, 1928 in Douglasville, GA, to her late parents; Martry and Cleo Cheek. Norma worked as a clerk for AT&T for 45 years and was Baptist by faith. Mrs. Bradley was a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harrison Bradley, her son, Robert Bradley, sisters; Caroline Jordan, Nell Hines, Nancy Hewitt, brothers; Ray Tate Cheek and Harold Franklin Cheek.
She is survived by her sisters; Barbara Thompson of Powder Springs, GA, Betty Garrett (Jimmie) of Griffin, GA, Frances Laney of Michigan and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Bradley will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Clark Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow the service at Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Clark Funeral Home from 12:30 PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service or visitation in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions. (No more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time) If attending the visitation or funeral service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home recommends that a face mask be worn to help prevent the spreading any possible illnesses and to help keep our visitors and the family members of Mrs. Bradley safe.
