Nancie "Leanne" Jones

Nancie Leanne Jones passed away on December 5, 2021 at the age of 50. Leanne was born on August 24, 1971 to Carol Hunt and the late Virgil Simpson in Atlanta, Ga. She was an extremely kind-hearted woman, always willing to go the extra mile to help anyone in need. She treated everyone with love and respect and never knew a stranger. She loved cheerleading, was charming and had a charisma that was simply contagious. Leanne was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend.

Leanne is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Simpson. She is survived by her loving fiancé, Hubert Morgan, her mother; Carol Hunt, step-father; Kenneth Hunt, sons; Michael (Kirsten Smith) Burnette and Christopher (Alison) Jones, daughter; Allie Jones (Micheal) Campbell, sister; Amanda Sue Ivy, grandchildren; Abigail Jones, Jeremiah McDonald, Hayden Campbell, Avery Campbell, Bryce Burnette, Dylan Raimey, and Landon Raimey; nieces; Makenzi Ivy and Bailey Ivy.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December, 9, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home at 11:000am with Pastor Thomas Blagg officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family towards the cost of funeral services can be made directly to Clark Funeral Home.
