Mrs. Mildred Ione Mitchell, age 88, of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2006. She was born on May 11, 1918 in Atlanta to the late Luther and Lora Winslett. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Mitchell.
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Donald & Shirley Mitchell of Knoxville, TN and Bobby & Sandra Mitchell of Dallas; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Rev. Derrick Fowler and Rev. Wiley Butler officiating. The interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is in charge of arrangements.
