Michelle Cooper

Michelle Renee Cooper, age 48, of Douglasville, Ga passed away February 14, 2024. She was born in Riverdale, Georgia on July 10, 1975. Michelle was a domestic engineer and cherished her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother above all else. She loved all types of music and she always said she was her own "Sunshine".

Michelle was known for her warm and welcoming spirit. She loved her family unconditionally. She had a passion for writing poetry and blogging, using her words to connect with others. Her infectious personality made her the life of the party, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went. Michelle was a great listener, never judging others and accepting them for who they were. She was a talker and could get along with anyone.

Michelle is preceded in death by her father Donald Cranford; her son, Thomas McKerley; and her nephew, Kaleb Johnson.

Michelle leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Reid Cooper; her children: Amanda, Jessie, Ryan, Tyler, Tiffany, and Candy; her mother, Grace Wyatt; siblings: Matt, Pat, Julia, Nellie, and Sara; her grandchildren: Thomas, Jameson, Eli, Luna, Isabella, and Jackson; several nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday February 25, 2024 beginning at 12:00 PM. The funeral service begins at 2:00 PM in Clark's Chapel.

Following the service, Michelle will be cremated.
