Melanie "Beth" Selman

November 11, 1974 — March 12, 2021

Melanie Beth Selman, age 47, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Selman was born on November 11, 1974 to her parents, Wayne and Jan Swindle. Beth was a self-employed hair stylist for 23 years and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Her favorite past time was traveling to the beach with her family. She had a passion for the women’s ministry at her church. Above all, she loved her husband and her children.

Beth is survived by her loving husband; Bryan Selman, parents; Wayne and Jan Swindle, daughter; Addie Selman, sons; Austin Selman, Andres Selman, and Aiden Selman, brothers; Nick (Robin) Swindle of Dallas, GA., Marc (Cher) Swindle of Rome, GA., along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Beth will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Saturday March 20, 2021 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Eric Whelchel, Pastor Mike Parker, and Pastor Terry Huey officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the women’s ministry at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

If attending the visitation, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Selman safe.  The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).

Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is honored to care for the family during this difficult time.

Condolences may be left for the family on our website, www.samclarkfuneralhome.com under the Tribute Wall tab.
