Matthew P. Dutkiewicz

Matthew P. Dutkiewicz passed away March 10, 2022. He was born on December 17, 1942 in Buffalo, New York to the late Mescislaus and Sophie Dutkiewicz. Matthew was a proud United States Air Force Veteran who served for 34 years. He served as a Master Sergeant and was an aircraft mechanic at the Niagara Falls Base. He was a family oriented man who loved spending time and going out to eat with his family. He enjoyed his yard work and especially his riding lawnmower which he kept looking brand new. Matthew had a good sense of humor and he loved taking selfies, even before they were considered "cool". He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be very missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mescislaus and Sophie Dutkiewicz. Matthew is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara Dutkiewicz; his daughter, Daneen (Stephen) Zygaj; his son, Matthew S. (Jennifer) Dutkiewicz; his sister, Annette Misiak (Roland) Reesor; his brother, David (Kathy) Dutkiewicz; and his two beloved grandchildren, Emily Dutkiewicz and Cole Zygaj.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. A Funeral Holy Mass for Mr. Dutkiewicz will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 2:30pm with Father Adrian officiating.
