Mary (Betty) Russell

Mary E. (Betty) Russell, age 84, of Hiram, GA. passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. Mrs. Russell was born on December 19, 1936 to her late parents, Ralph and Eula Mae Cowart. Betty loved quilting and genealogy. She was especially known for her involvement in teaching students with learning disabilities. She worked for Dade County Board of Education as a school counselor for more than 30 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister; Sue Jerkins.

Mary is survived by her loving husband; Robert Russell, sons; Robert (Michelyn) Russell Jr., Thomas (Melodie) Russell, Mark  Russell, sister; Carol Horrom, grandchildren; Michael, Briggs, Haley, Madison, Brittany, Connor, Caitlyn, along with many nieces and nephews.
