Mary Lola Walker, age 93, of Temple, GA, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016. She was born on December 5, 1922, in Cherokee County, GA, to the late Lewis Croft Sr. & Cornelia Ponder Croft. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Walker. She loved flowers, enjoyed crocheting & was a homemaker. Mrs. Walker was a member at Springhill Baptist Church in Ellenwood, GA.
Survivors include son & daughter-in-law, James & Kaye Walker of Douglasville, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Shirley & Sam Harper of Temple, GA; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service for Mrs. Walker will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 1:00 PM, at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton, GA, with Reverend Joey Meeks officiating.
