Mary Pitts

Mary Priscilla Pitts, age 90, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2009. She was born May 16, 1919, in Carroll County, and was preceded in death by her parents, George Wesley Easterwood & Dorothy Railes Easterwood, and her husband, Lewis Samuel Pitts. Mrs. Pitts was retired from Coats & Clark as a spinner operator.
Survivors include her son, Gerald Pitts of Douglasville, GA; daughters & son-in-law, Ruth & Michael Lancaster of Austell, GA, Mildred Baggett of Douglasville, GA, Vera Hall of Douglasville, GA, Jean Freeman of Paulding County, GA, and Kathy Nicholson of Grady County, GA; brothers, Wesley Easterwood, Earl Easterwood, Edward Easterwood and Jeff Easterwood all of Carrollton, GA; sisters, Merlane Easterwood of Texas, and Maye Anderson of Carrollton, GA; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Saturday, December 26, 2009, at 6:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Tommy Young officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 26, 2009, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
