Martha Sue (Foster) Byrd

Martha Sue Byrd, age 90, passed away on July 8, 2022. She was born on May 20, 1932 to the late Luther and Nora Foster. She was a faithful member of Wayside Baptist Church along side her husband, Harold. Martha had a heart of gold and enjoyed serving others. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a faithful servant to her church family.
Martha was an incredible wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Sue Henson; son, Gary Gene Henson; and brother, Sonny Foster. She is survived by her husband, Harold Byrd Sr.; her son, Audie (Samantha) Byrd; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Services for Mrs. Byrd will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 11:00am with Reverend Billy Bell and Mr. Cody Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, 1752 Macland Rd Powder Springs, Ga 30064
