Maria Teresa Brown, age 75, passed away on February 9, 2024, surrounded by her
loving family. She was a cherished wife, mother, nana, sister, and aunt. Born October
15,1948 to the late Francisca Malvido de Valle and late Austreberto Valle Valle. Maria
grew up in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico with her four siblings: Irma Valle Medina,
Francisca Valle Malvido, Jose Miguel Valle Malvido and Haydee’ Valle.
Throughout her life, Maria Teresa was a pillar of strength, guiding her family with love
and wisdom. She will be remembered for her feisty spirit, infectious laughter, sharp wit
and her boundless love for her family and friends. Maria touched the lives of all who
knew her and leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire us.
For almost 56 years Maria Teresa shared a beautiful journey with her husband Charles.
Maria devoted her life to her family; as the family’s caregiver she exemplified
unwavering love. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Maria Teresa is survived by her loving husband, Charles Brown; her daughter Elizabeth
Brown DaMour (son-in-law Donald DaMour); granddaughter Jessica Marie Zdenek; her
son Michael Brown (daughter-in-law Lisa Brown).
Funeral Mass was held for Maria Teresa Monday, February 26, 2024, at St. Vincent de
Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, Georgia. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Brigid
Catholic Church in Johns Creek, Georgia this year and Remembrance Mass February
9th, 2025.
May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory continue to bring comfort and strength
to those who mourn her loss.
