Lorenzo Culbreth

Mr. Lorenzo Dowe Culbreth, age 93, of Atlanta, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2006. He was born on January 31, 1913 in Miller Co., Georgia. He was a retired supervisor with the Southern Freight Tariff Bureau and was a member of First Decatur Baptist Church. Mr. Culbreth was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy & Fred Mintz of Hiram, GA; sisters, Edith Alley & husband, Harold of Alpharetta, GA, Jewell Moyer of Lancaster, PA and Alice Andrews of Colquitt, GA; grandchildren, Angela Mintz, Chuck Mintz and Kathy Scarbrough; great-grandchildren, Emily Corley and Madison Scarbrough; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Dr. Quinn Evans officiating. The burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. from Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is in charge of arrangements.
