Lois Idell Atcheson Tibbitts

January 23, 1926 — April 2, 2022

Lois Idell Atcheson Tibbitts passed away April 2, 2022. She was born on January 23, 1926 to the late Oscar and Mattie Atcheson. Idell was a faithful member of Narroway Baptist Church. In the 1960's her and her husband, Jack, started their own business, Tibbitts Printing Company, where they worked together for almost 30 years. Idell also was in the real estate business for almost 10 years. She adored her family and always made sure their needs were met. Idell was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 76 years, Edwin B. Jack Tibbitts; her baby sister, daughter of Oscar and Mattie; brother, Henry Atcheson; sisters, Elberta Bone, Newell Durham, Kate Kennedy, Francis McMichen, Mildred Smith; son-in-law's, Bill Allen and Richard Rainey. She is survived by her daughters, Pat Allen and Carolyn Rainey; son, Ted Tibbitts; grandchildren, Tracey (Rudy) Griffin, Chris (Paige) Tibbitts, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 11:00pm until 2:00pm. Funeral Services for Mrs. Tibbitts will begin at 2:00pm at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Todd Tibbitts officiating. Interment will follow at Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Hershel Tibbitts officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Donations can be sent to Joan Ratteree at 102 Corley Road Dallas, GA. 30132
