Linda Gail Kannarney passed away peacefully on May 10, 2023, with her husband of 30 years and son by her side. She was born on July 8, 1957, in Macon, Georgia. As the eldest sibling of five children, she had a little filter and said whatever popped into her head. She did not mind setting you straight if and as needed. Possibly rooted in being the oldest, she cared about everyone she came to know.
Linda worked as a parts specifier at Mitsubishi Motors North America for 33 years. Next to her son, Ryan, her greatest joy was cooking and feeding her friends and family. She loved spending time with family and going on trips to the mountains and beach. Linda was a bit of a sun goddess, and on the weekends during the summer, everyone in her orbit knew where to find her- lounging in her pool. This is where she found her serenity. If she wasn't by the pool, she could be found shopping, dining, and maybe doing a bit of day drinking with her best friend, Dawn.
Linda was a spectacular wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Linda is preceded in death by her sister, Diane (Tim) Carter, and her brother, Ricky Auten. She is survived by her loving husband, Ricky Kannarney; her son, Ryan Kannarney; her father, Robert (Kathy) Auten; mother, Betty Auten; sisters, Kathy Endicott and Brenda (Scott) Auten; brother, Robert Auten Jr.; mother-in-law, Loretta Kannarney; father-in-law, Bennie Kannarney Jr.; sister-in-law, Melissa Siano; brother-in-law, James Siano; three nieces and five nephews.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A memorial service for Mrs. Linda will begin at 2:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Joseph Lorren officiating.
Clark Funeral Home is honored to care for the Kannarney family during this difficult time.
