Linda Gail Freeman, age 76, of Rockmart, Georgia, formerly of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. She was born on July 2, 1948, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Joseph Fred and Florence Augusta Parks. Linda was a devoted member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Dallas, Georgia where she loved attending services. In her spare time, she loved collecting baby dolls and any kind of jewelry.
Linda was a strong believer and extremely faithful to God. She was loving and caring to everyone she encountered and Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert James Freeman Sr.; her brothers, Raymond Parks, Bobby Parks, and Gary Parks; and her granddaughter, Crystal Freeman.
Linda is survived by her sons, Robbie (Martha) Freeman, Joseph "PeeWee" (Esther) Freeman, Robert "Bo" (Patricia) Freeman, and Tommy (Karen) Freeman; special daughter, Stasia (Randy) Childers; grandchildren, Charles Spinks, Cristina Spinks, Lindsey Freeman, Alyssa Freeman, Jamie Freeman, Megan Parker, Travis Freeman, Madison Freeman, and Christian Russell; sister, Carolyn Pitts; brother, Thurmond Parks; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, Georgia on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Sam Clark Chapel with Pastor Tommy Freeman and Rev Joe Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton Georgia with Travis Freeman, Jamie Freeman, Charles Spinks, Michael Frye, Adam Dishroon, and Randy Parks serving as pallbearers. Little Man will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
