Mrs. Linda Littlefield Dunlap of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the age of 82. She was born January 16, 1943, in LaGrange, Georgia, daughter of the late Grover Arthur Littlefield and the late Jimmie Lou Adams Littlefield.
Linda loved to travel, filling her life with rich experiences and cherished memories. A proud fan of both Georgia football and the Atlanta Braves, she found excitement on game days, often surrounded by family and also loved to watch wrestling. She was a former employee of the Lockheed Martin Corporation and went on to retire from the Georgia Department of Revenue. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie James Dunlap; and a brother, "Jim" Littlefield.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Joe Slate and Kim and David Hand; three grandchildren, James Dunlap, Torri Thomason and Ethan Slate; four great-grandchildren, Trenton Thomason, Liam Dunlap, Tyson Thomason and Elle Dunlap; three nieces and a nephew.
The family will receive friends at the Clark Funeral Home on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Sam Clark Chapel with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Interment service will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park with David Hand, Joe Slate, James Dunlap, Ethan Slate, Travis Thomason and James Brownlow serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Trenton Thomason.
Linda will be remembered for the warmth she brought to everyone and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
