Leslie Suzann Wix

June 25, 1981 — October 26, 2021

Mrs. Leslie Suzann Wix, faithful believer in our heavenly Father, loving wife, and mother of two, passed away on Tuesday, October 26,2021, at the age of 40.

She was born on June 25, 1981, in Lithia Springs, GA to Chuck and Pam (Johnston) Gentes. She made her career as an orthodontic assistant and a phenomenal stay at home mother. On October 13, 2001, she married Jacob Lee Wix. On July 8, 2008, she and her husband welcomed their son, Brandon Charles Wix and on June 28, 2012, they welcomed their daughter Autumn Lee Wix.

Leslie loved the Lord, her family, and her friends. She radiated her loving light everywhere she went. She loved the outdoors and would take any opportunity available to cherish God's creation, especially if it meant she could do it with those she loved. Leslie was compassionate about her relationship with the Lord and would share His message, through actions, word, or deed, to those around her. She was a wonderfully devoted wife, mother, and daughter who showed an amazing level of kindness, forgiveness, compassion, love, and grace in everything she was involved in. Wherever Leslie went, her beautiful smile (along with her amazingly luxurious red hair), would always leave a lasting positive impression.

Leslie was preceded in death by her grandparents Don and Tesa Johnston and grandfather, Don Gentes. She is survived by her husband Jacob, her two children, Brandon and Autumn, her father and mother, Chuck and Pam Gentes, her two brothers, Chase (Courtney) Gentes, Michael (Carmen) Gentes, her father and mother in-law, Jimmy and Suzanne Wix, her grandmother Fern Chase Gentes, her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, along with countless friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ. Keeping with her wishes, there will not be a traditional funeral service; however, according to Ecclesiastes 3:4, after the time of weeping and mourning have started to pass, our time of laughter and dancing will take place with a to be determined remembrance of life and homecoming celebration. Once the time and date of this celebration is known, the information will be shared with those who wish to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations or contributions can be made to Bethany Christian Church, 3236 Villa Rica Hwy, Dallas, Ga 30157 to help further the spread of God's Word that Leslie so fervently loved and accepted.
