Leonard "Frank" Ellis

Leonard "Frank" Ellis Jr. passed away on May 29, 2022. He was born on December 3, 1937 to the late Leonard Frank Ellis Sr. and Mildred Elizabeth Folds-Ellis. Frank was an United States Air Force Veteran who was an extremely hard worker. After his service, Frank worked as a postal carrier and as a brick mason. He loved to make others laugh with his jokes and he enjoyed his time spent with family- especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frank adored his family and did everything he could to take care of them. He was the best father and he will be missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Carolyn Ellis; his son, Kerry Lance Ellis; His brother, Jerry Ellis; His sister, Peggy Ellis Kennedy. Frank is survived by his daughter, Sundi Ellis (Greg) Carter; sons, Brandon (Angie) Ellis, Chad Ellis; sister, Jeanette Pratt; grandchildren, Ashley (Jerry) Francis, Jessica Ellis, Emily (Josh) Marek, Ava Ellis; great-grandchildren, Ethan Francis, Amelia Francis, Adalie Francis, and Sadie Marek.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. A private Memorial Service will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery.
