Lazaro Tato-Vargas, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the age of 64. He was born on June 12, 1962, in Cuba, to the late Lazaro Inocente Tato-Cerdoba and Dania Vargas-Cerce. Lazaro immigrated to the United States in pursuit of a brighter future and made his home in Dallas, Georgia, where he became a beloved member of the community.
Lazaro dedicated himself to his work as a driver for DHL, where his hard work and commitment earned him the respect and admiration of his coworkers. He genuinely loved his job, and it showed in everything he did. A devoted husband and provider, he cherished his family above all else.
When he wasn't working hard, Lazaro could be found enjoying sports and sharing laughs with family and coworkers. His warmth and kindness touched everyone he met; he truly was one of a kind.
Lazaro is survived by his loving wife, Josefina Llanso-Vazquez. Though he had no biological children, he opened his heart to several children he loved and treated as his own: Joel Diaz-Llanso, Willy Espinal, Aldo Primiano, Herson Sosa, and Yusmi Diaz-Llanso. He is also survived by his brother, Alejandro Tato-Vargas; his grandchildren, David Silva-Diaz, Liz Primiano, and Anthony Diaz; and a host of extended family, friends, and coworkers. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Sam Clark Chapel. The service will be live streamed below or by following this link: Live Stream Burial will take place at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, Georgia.

Lázaro Tato-Vargas, de Dallas, Georgia, falleció el miércoles 8 de julio de 2026, a la edad de 64 años. Nació el 12 de junio de 1962, en Cuba, hijo de los ya fallecidos Lázaro Inocente Tato-Cerdoba y Dania Vargas-Cerce. Lázaro emigró a los Estados Unidos en busca de un futuro mejor y estableció su hogar en Dallas, Georgia, donde se convirtió en un miembro querido de la comunidad.
