Kerri Lee Hendon

Kerri Hendon, age 53, passed away on December 10, 2021. She was born on August 18, 1968 to Steve and Donna Elrod. Kerri had a heart of gold and loved her family and dog, Roxanne, more than anything. She worked for Geico for a few years and loved her job. Kerri will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kerri is preceded in death by her loving husband; James Hendon, her father, Steve Elrod and her uncle; Melvin Massengale. She is survived by her son; Matthew Hendon, her mother; Donna (Mike) Murphy, sisters; Christy (Todd) Greak, Robin (Donald) Yancy, grandmother; Ruth Massengale, uncles; Gary (Janet) Massengale, Rick (Jeannie) Massengale, great aunt; Mary Alice (Don) Odom and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 11:00am until 12:00pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00pm with Pastor Donald Yancy officiating.
